Network, Security and Voice Specialist
Location:Dubai
Objective:
Management and administration of the IT infrastructure including Firewalls, WAF's, IPS, Proxy, Load balancers, Network Switches, Routers, IP-Telephony, MPLS, Internet Leased line's, VPN , SD-WAN, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain daily operations to ensure the functionality and availability of network and security of IT systems, data centers, Cloud, servers, systems, data, backups, and communications.
- Manage the periodic configuration review/hardening of various components of the network security infrastructure.
- Provide architectural and design input to strategic direction for the development of new project initiates.
- Ensure that all systems are maintained as per Information security requirements without compromising on availability and performance.
- Implement Information Security controls and policies as required to ensure a safe Infra and Systems operation.
- Perform technical evaluation of service requests, normal, standard, and emergency changes, network problems' resolution, etc.
- Monitor network systems including false positive reduction and acknowledgement/ resolution procedures.
- Resolution/Update of tickets daily generated by the IT ticketing system and respond to inbound phone and emails for technical assistance.
- Manage incidents/problems/changes for the network & security infrastructure, Coordination with Service providers and partners, and assist operations with vendor escalation and issue resolution within the agreed SLA's.
Requirements:
- Bachelor in an IT related field or equivalent hands-on experience
- The candidate must have 8+ years experience in managing the Network Infrastructure for a company of significant size, with hands-on experience in the daily operations and continuous improvements of the IT Infrastructure. The candidate should have a very strong network & infrastructure security background and be exposed and aware of all the latest developments in technologies related to IT Operations
- Strong experience with Network architecture and design. Experience in designing, building, operating and troubleshooting large scale IT Network systems.
- Strong experience with technical documentation writing and maintenance.
- Preferred to have knowledge of the following technologies specific to the products:
- Network Security: Advance knowledge of IPS/IDS, perimeter security NGFW, SSL inspection, cryptography Palo-Alto, Fortinet, Checkpoint Cisco ASA, Cisco ISE, F5 LTM/GTM, NetScaler, Bluecoat Proxy, ATP, Email security
- Switching and Routing: Advance knowledge of Cisco Switching and routing.
- Application security: Advance understanding of OWASP and Web application firewalling F5, policy implementation and maintenance.
- Cloud security: Advance knowledge of AWS & Azure cloud hosting, design, implementation, and maintenance of secure network in the cloud.
- Intercommunication: Advance knowledge of MPLS, Lease lines, DMVPN, PRI, IPSEC, SDWAN.
- Collaboration: Cisco CUCM, Jabber, Voice Mail, Presence and MS-Teams
- Strong understanding of common services (Web, mail, FTP, DNS,AD,AAA etc.), network vulnerabilities and network attack patterns
- Expertise in TCP/IP, support and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of ITIL procedures.
Certifications:
- Must have one of the following: CCIE, CCNP, CCSP
- Certified in 2 or more of following: Palo Alto / Check Point / Blue Coat / F5 (LTM, GTM, ASM,) / Cisco ISE
- Certified in Either Azure or Cloud Administration
