First Point Group are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading and multinational connectivity solutions company. They wish to hire a German speaking customer focused Solution Engineer to join their team. The role is hybrid based, 2-3 days per week in Frankfurt office.
As a member of our team, you will be instrumental in designing, configuring, and implementing innovative projects, with a particular focus on the transport sector, utilizing our state-of-the-art products and solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and present technical designs based on company suite of products.
- Analyze customer requirements and develop solution concepts.
- Participate in all phases of project execution, from network design to implementation.
- Serve as a liaison between internal teams and client project teams.
- Collaborate with internal technical experts and product development teams.
- Travel within Europe to engage in projects with our European clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and document customer requirements.
- Design solutions and refine system architectures.
- Review installation designs.
- Create configuration files and documentation for system deployment.
- Conduct functional acceptance tests.
- Facilitate project handover to service management and technical support.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT networks, or related field.
- Proficiency in LAN/WAN networking.
- Experience in system architecture design and technical documentation.
- Strong Linux skills.
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and adapt in a dynamic environment.
- Structured approach to work and task prioritization.
- Fluent in both German and English.
Desired Skills:
- Experience in WiFi
- Proficiency in IP-based networks.
- Familiarity with mobile communication technologies.
- Intercultural competence and international experience.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe.
